Halloween

I had the day off Friday and it was a beautiful day so we took some pictures and headed up to the mountains. Kelly loves to do Halloween at her mom and dad's because it is usually swamped with trick or treaters. Other than the grand kids there was only two. We didn't take Ren trick or treating but Kelly did put this suit on him every time someone came to the door. My mom and dad both have colds and chose not to expose Ren so maybe next time they're down Kelly will put him in his pumpkin suit for them.
Ren has had diarrhea now for about ten days. We took him to the pediatrician Wednesday and the Dr. says it could be a virus or colitis. He hasn't had a fever and he acts fine. We sent a stool sample to the lab and won't know anything until next week. The doctor says just to make sure he is hydrated and not to be too concerned just yet because it may go away on its own. Can't help but worry though...
To spite having diarrhea he seems like he feels fine and has hit some baby milestones worth talking about. He will stay on his belly and look around now. In the past we would put him down on the floor on his belly and he would give it one honest effort to look around then lay his head down and whine. He has figured out that he can rest on his elbows and that makes it easier. I put him down last night and he almost turned himself over to his back... almost...

He also stiffens his neck when you pick him up or when you pull him forward by his arms. Kelly says that is a chore because she thinks he has a big noggin.

It must be tough being a baby...
